Hedwig and the Angry Inch
played its final New York performance on
April 9, 2000

It rocked New York for
2 years, 2 months
or
857 performances.

The Jane Street Theatre is no more. Two productions followed Hedwig:
Tick, Tick Boom and LifeGame.

Some scenes from the Spike Lee film 24 Hours were filmed there.

At present, I'm told, the theatre has been returned to a storage space for the hotel; crammed with the detritus of transient humanity.

Ms. Hedwig, I'm sure, would approve.
